Frequently Asked Questions

1: When you say recycled does that mean it can be recycled?
Currently we do not have details on our fabric, on which ones could be recycled if so desired. When we name a fabric recycled that means that the polyester used in the fabric came from chopped up plastic containers like water bottles.

2. What do they mean by wick away?
This is a fabric that has be specifically designed to either wick moisture from the inside of the fabric to the outside, or has been designed to spread out the moisture over a larger service so it drys quicker.

3. Are some Water Proof Breathable Fabrics more breathable than others?
Most definitely. Because of the way we source our fabrics we have some of the best fabrics made when it comes to breathable. The most common way to determine breathability is through standard testing methods. But remember, when making jackets that are going to be used in heavy athletic conditions we recommend putting zippers in the arm pits for quick release.

4. What is the difference between Lycra and Spandex?
Lycra is a name brand urethane yarn developed originally by the DuPont Corporation in the United States. Spandex is the generic version of that same yarn. Many of the best fabrics still use Lycra because of its long history of making a high quality yarn.
